After losing my mom a couple years ago and a college friend lost his son about the same time. I started to think how life is short and how in the blink of an eye we can be dead. I started to think about how we need to live our lives to the fullest and cherish the time we have with the people we love. So, I was thinking about how to prom
After losing my mom a couple years ago and a college friend lost his son about the same time. I started to think how life is short and how in the blink of an eye we can be dead. I started to think about how we need to live our lives to the fullest and cherish the time we have with the people we love. So, I was thinking about how to promote that and how to inspire people to Live the DASH. I thought and thought and started coming up with neat ideas, even sharing it with friends and family. Everyone said it was a great concept, but I never did anything about it. Until a tragic friend’s event happened, and our dear friends lost their son in a hit and run car accident the people were found but are not cooperating and have yet to face justice. He was a shining STAR that lit up a room and lifted all his family and friends every time he entered it. He was the epitome of youth he lived his live to the fullest; Surfing, Hunting, swimming, Skating, skiing, and any sport he would be doing any chance he could get and put his all into it. So, I decided I either needed to S or get of the pot and do the apparel line. IF it is a success fantastic if it fails well, I tried.
The family has started a Foundation to help fulfill the dreams of youths. Help send them to camps that offer opportunities to explore and experience the fun activities they have always wanted to do but couldn’t.
In his honor Live the Dash It’s about time is donating a percentage of sales to the foundation they started.
